A pound cake fit for our in-between growing seasons! Not floral but rather an essence of our beautiful garden (and very nutritious!). Using the things we grow and make! Gorgeous chamomile we harvest, along with marshmallow we also produce, paired beautifully with dehydrated spices to create a special blend that is still very much (end of) Summer and fun, but a little cozy (just like us). It's also studded with our fermented dehydrated orange jam squares! We are using the base recipe of our Persian Love Cakes, which some of you may know as our most sentimental bake, making it even more special and delicious. It gets soaked and injected with a citrus syrup and a flourish of our finest harvest.
This enchanting cake reminds us of our Summer garden, adorned with the floral scent of citrus. The ground almond ensures a moist, textured cake that is perfect on its own, with a cup of coffee, tea, or lemonade. Perfection.
