The scone loaf we love but with a seasonal (end of Summer) twist. Crunchy on the outside, yet soft and tender in the middle. These mini scone loaves bring all the flavors of chocolate covered blueberries into a scone that pairs so beautifully with pockets of almond paste and it's signature crunchy sugary crown.

This flavored was inspired by Diane's recent travels in New England for the bakery. She had delicious chocolate covered wild blueberries in Maine and new she had to brin back the beautiful flavor to the bakery! Not too chocolate-y, not too blueberry-y, but rather a delightful combination using Jersey blueberries (blueberries grown in the state)

The story behind our scone loaves: we LOVE scones. Love them. One day we were tinkering with a scone recipe, when I accidentally left the dough to ferment longer than I should have. It developed a beautiful “puff” and we didn’t want to risk deflating by cutting it into traditional scone shapes, so I put it into a loaf pan. It's quite a different bake, and thanks to a slew of hidden perks—it's amazing!

Why it's Beneficial:

Ingredients:

Tiger nuts, almond extract, parsnip, lemon zest, golden beets, chocolate chunks (vegan, paleo etc), fermented cauliflower, reishi, turnip, parsnip, kombu, maple cured yellow bell peppers, rutabaga, turnip, vanilla extract, baking powder, almond paste, dehydrated blueberries, blueberry juice.
