A Latin-inspired treat to celebrate. Think most “buttery” shortbread ever, with a fermented guava center.
Guava, or guayaba in Spanish, is native to tropical areas such as Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Guavas have a strong tropical fragrance and floral taste that is mesmerizing.
We took our most beloved shortbread and gave it a tweak with the addition of cauliflower to create beautiful little 'hats' filled with fermented guava. They are incredibly labor intensive to make with veggies but it's been on my heart to offer them to customers.
They are a 3-inch treat that you want to make sure in savor and inhale because as soon as you taste the beauty, it really does melt in your mouth and are left with the memory of something magical... and you will want more.
Organic Ingredients: fermented maple cauliflower, parsnip, sprouted amaranth, golden beet, cacao butter, sea salt, vanilla, fermented guava paste (guava, sea salt, a lot of time), fermented blueberries (Jersey blueberry, salt, time)
